Amalfi Coast: Positano, Ravello, Amalfi. Tour Guide.

The best way to discover Italy's most famous coast is to use our travel guide! The landscapes of this part of Italy are so magnificent: the azure waters and the unique postcard-like cities nestled against the backdrop of picturesque mountains have attracted people here since the time of Ancient Rome. While the Amalfi coast is known for its glamour and, sometimes, incredibly expensive hotels and restaurants that are the first to catch your eye, there is still a very authentic side that permeates everything, you just have to look under the surface of these places. Use our Amalfi Coast tour guide to discover Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

If you arrive in Naples, the pearls of the Amalfi coast are about one hour away by car. You can plan your trip to visit other important places in this region: Naples and Pompeii – after all, they are located literally on the road. In Naples, combine a walk through the main attractions in the city center and tasting iconic local wines and street food. You can use the services of a local sommelier guide, who will initiate you into the secrets of wine production and their history, tell you about wine etiquette, and you will become more confident in the world of wine. A walk through Naples along with a tasting is a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture and flavor of the city. You can stay here overnight to admire the great volcano Vesuvio over a cappuccino during breakfast and gain strength before visiting the next Great Place of Italy and the whole Earth - Pompei, or you can directly head to the Amalfi coast to visit Amalfi, Ravello and Positano with our travel guide.

The first stop on the Amalfi coast will be Positano - the best known village on the Amalfi Coast. I'ts postcard scenery, with the pyramid of colorful houses descending to the sea is known all over the world. The village is located between the main road and the sea, hidden in the Lattari mountains, picturesque groves bloom around, and the blue sea splashes along the steep shores.. The entrance starts from the main road, and the "serpentine" runs through the entire village. The main attraction of Positano is the Church of Santa Maria. The houses in Positano will surprise you with their neatness and methodical use of every meter – the gardens laid out on the roof of the houses are another purely Positanian feature.

Ravello, another incredibly beautiful and authentic village, will welcome you with a charming panoramic view of the coast. Here you will find local architectural attractions, for example, ancient villas, which mix Italian, Byzantine and Arab motifs. Ravello is located in the mountains, so its main attractions are the rock terraces, which offer wonderful views of the coast. Ravello has preserved many historical sights that are definitely worth visiting while relaxing at the resort. For example, the famous Rufolo and Cimbrone villas are open for inspection.
