Let’s move to Verona and Valpolicella. It is the most famous area of the Veneto wine region in northeastern Italy, whose name translates as "valley of many cellars". Its popularity is not difficult to understand if you are familiar with easily drinkable red wines with the inscription Valpolicella and their prestigious counterpart – thick, saturated Amarone della Valpolicella. Here is the information before to start Valpolicella Wine Tasting Tour:

There are 4 stages (styles) of Valpolicella wines that you are welcome to try during your Valpolicella Wine Tasting Tour:
— Valpolicella DOC. This is an ideal summer wine, fresh, light, it can be served even slightly chilled.
— Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. This is an aged red wine with a high alcohol content (15-16%), aromas of dried fruits, smoke and cloves. It is best combined with stewed meat and mature cheeses.
— Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Formally, the status is between Amarone and simple Valpolicella, but the production method requires you to talk about Amarone beforehand, which was done above.
— Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Sweet dessert red wine with aromas of raisins, figs, dried cherries and spices.
